Prayer beads are used by various religious people and this is mainly used for the counting repetition prayers. The prayer beads are also used for the meditation purpose to bring the concentration. The mala contains the main bead which makes us to remind of the guru for the growth this is called guru or tassel. There are also the specific way to hold the mala, as it has to be hold between the thumb and the middle finger. As the bead is passed along the name of the god is pronounced once. This is the form of keeping our self calm and remembering god during our day to day life activities.
